Giving to the Endowment

In 2001, the Library established an endowment with the Community Foundation of Madison and Jefferson County. Endowed funds support the Library not just for one year, but forever, as all donations are permanently held in the fund, and only the profits are used for the Library's benefit. This allows the continued growth of the endowment, which in turn provides more support each year.

Gifts to the endowment have a lasting and meaningful impact.
