Computers
JCPL provides computers at both the Madison and Hanover Locations.
Hanover: 7 Adult & 3 Youth
Madison: 16 Adult & 3 Youth
The Adult computers are for patron 14 years or older.
All Library computers are filtered per Federal law. Patrons 17 years or older can request the filter be removed for research purposes. Youth computers will remain filtered at all times.
All public computers run Windows 7 and have Microsoft Office and web browsers. USB ports are available for flash drives. Single page scanners are available at the Circulation Desks.
Computers may be used in 30 minute sessions for a maximum of 2 hours each day.
Guest passes are available at the Circulation Desks for users 18 years or older with ID.
By choosing to use the public computers, users agree to the Library's COMPUTER USE POLICY.
Wireless
The Library provides free, high-speed Wireless Internet at both locations.
The Wi-Fi signal is named MJCPLguest and does not require a password to log in.
Staff is able to provide limited assistance if you experience difficulty accessing the wireless signal.
Wireless Internet is filtered. The filter will not be removed from personal devices.
By choosing to use the Library's Wi-Fi, users agree to the Library's COMPUTER USE POLICY.
Printing
Users can print from the Library's public computers. The cost is:
Black & White: $.10/page
Color: $.25/page
Users can also print from their laptop, tablet, or smartphone through our wireless printing service.
