Literacy Tutors Wanted
Statistics tell us that 20% of American adults are functionally illiterate. They cannot read a newspaper, a road sign, a grocery ad, a menu or their Bible.
These adults need help
Are you willing to give an hour of your time a week to make a difference for them and their families?
We need tutors for English as well as non-English speaking adults.
The Jefferson County Public Library periodically offers free tutor training to persons in the Madison area.
