After School In Hanover
The Place to Be
will be the Hanover Branch
on 2nd and 4th Thursdays
after school 3:30 to 4:30
starting September 23rd.
What will we do?
You just never know. We could play Guitar Hero or Dance Dance Revolution or games like Apples to Apples. We could do a craft, make something out of duct tape or write goofy stories. It’ll be fun and you won’t want to miss it!

What is a Playaway?
A preloaded audio device that is now available at the Madison Jefferson County Public Library that I’m VERY excited about!
Playaway is the simplest way to listen to audio on the go. Each Playaway comes with the digital content already pre-loaded on it and a battery to make it play. Simply plug in earbuds and enjoy.
No Cassettes. No CDs. No Downloads. Just Play.
You can adjust the speed of the narrator’s voice. The playaway remembers where you stopped and works with most headphones, speakers and car adapters.
Our playaways are located in the Young Adult Section on the new YA fiction shelf. There is a wide range of titles. Come check em out!
